Since then their stuff has become my favorite chill-and-escape-while-I-workout-at-the-gym-after-a-hard-day-at-work music on my iPod. I get so lost in &#8220;Clocks&#8221; on the elliptical trainer that I totally forget what time it is.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s right, put me down as a Coldplay man. How bourgeois of me, I know.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of fancy French words, Coldplay&#8217;s latest album <em>Viva la Vida<\/em> is here and I&#8217;m listening to it as I write. For those who think Chris Martin&#8217;s screeching falsetto is like fingernails-on-the-chalkboard, you will be greatly relieved that there&#8217;s much less of that in the new album. And for those who have thought previous Coldplay albums have relied too much on repetition and old-tricks-repackaged, this one has more flavors than Baskin-Robbins, thanks to producer Brian Eno of U2 fame.<\/p>\n<p>The early reviews (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/06\/16\/AR2008061602827.html\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baltimoresun.com\/entertainment\/music\/bal-to.cds17jun17,0,7841589.story\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canada.com\/vancouversun\/news\/arts\/story.html?id=baf14070-9ce3-48af-9bad-c696a72c924b\">here<\/a>) are favorable, even if begrudgingly.
