Citizens turned out in droves at Big Spring Park near the Huntsville Art Museum to the listen to the chillin&#8217; sounds of two local bands, <a href=\"http:\/\/profile.myspace.com\/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&#038;friendid=295772331\">Anchor&#8217;s Eye<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moosetunes.com\/\">Band of Moose<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"387\" height=\"289\" align=\"middle\" title=\"concert-1.jpg\" id=\"image1054\" alt=\"concert-1.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/concert-1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Man, you know you&#8217;re getting old when the kids that you used to coach in t-ball and soccer are performing live on stage and recording a session in Nashville next week to boot. Where did the time go?<\/p>\n<p>It was a time to bring your camp chair and beverage of choice, enjoy the music and meet and greet old friends:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"390\" height=\"290\" align=\"middle\" alt=\"concert-2.jpg\" id=\"image1055\" title=\"concert-2.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/concert-2.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nAnd new friends:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"389\" height=\"288\" align=\"middle\" title=\"concert-5.jpg\" id=\"image1056\" alt=\"concert-5.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/concert-5.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The politicians were out in full force, including long-time Huntsville Mayor Loretta Spencer who is running for re-election and is seen here talking to a constituent:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"middle\" style=\"width: 393px; height: 286px\" title=\"concert-7.jpg\" id=\"image1057\" alt=\"concert-7.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/concert-7.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She even gave me this cool fan, although I didn&#8217;t really need it that night:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"395\" height=\"295\" align=\"middle\" alt=\"img_0116.JPG\" id=\"image1058\" title=\"img_0116.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/img_0116.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>No, that&#8217;s not the Mother Ship from <em>Close Encounters of the Third Kind<\/em>. That&#8217;s the Von Braun Civic Center Coliseum:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"394\" height=\"293\" id=\"image1059\" alt=\"concert-3.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/concert-3.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Numbers One and Two and several of their friends made the scene as well:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"394\" height=\"293\" align=\"middle\" alt=\"concert-8.jpg\" id=\"image1060\" title=\"concert-8.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/concert-8.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the music and fellowship.
