Life is truly sometimes stranger than fiction.<\/p>\n<p>So may I humbly suggest that this weekend you focus your peepers on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Stranger-Than-Fiction-Will-Ferrell\/dp\/B000LXH0AE\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1\/105-4499350-7233258?ie=UTF8&#038;s=dvd&#038;qid=1181298862&#038;sr=8-1\">this instead.<br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\nThanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/paxfellaship.blogspot.com\/2007\/05\/new-post.html\">my favorite law professor<\/a> for recommending <em>Stranger Than Fiction<\/em>.  It&#8217;s not often that I gush over a movie rental. But this morning, I&#8217;m overflowing like Old Faithful. Will Farrell, Maggie Gyllenhall, Emma Thompson, Queen Latifah and Dustin Hoffman combine to produce a sober but soothing <strike>feast<\/strike> snack for the soul. There&#8217;s also a delightful reference to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spacecamp.com\/\">Space Camp<\/a> for you Huntsville folks, plus some funny cameos by some guys whom you&#8217;ll recognize immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t miss Will Ferrell as he provides an answer to the all-important question: &#8220;Are warm cookies and milk simply an accessory, or are they a life preserver?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It may not be a masterpiece, but it was a good enough sight for these sore eyes.\n<\/p>\n<p><!--478df5f1bc618f159ab65e1aa8a78323--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know that tawdry stories such as this and this can catch a person&#8217;s eye like a bad case of conjunctivitis.
