Behold, Amazing Gracie the Wonderdog:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"503\" height=\"336\" title=\"gracie.jpg\" id=\"image891\" alt=\"gracie.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ocularfusion.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/02\/gracie.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I told you she was Bama Beautiful in that houndstooth collar of hers!<\/p>\n<p>Gracie is shown here firing up a victory stogy after the Tide&#8217;s 41-17 thrashing of the Vols last October. Little did she know that would be her last one for the season.<\/p>\n<p>Like many a Bama fan, Gracie was disappointed in our anemic offense and poor quarterback play, and she didn&#8217;t touch her food for days after that loss to Lo-Mo. So when OC Major Applewhite left the Tide and headed back to Texas, there were no tears shed in <em>her<\/em> doghouse.<\/p>\n<p>But Gracie was thrilled at the Tide&#8217;s hiring of new OC Jim McElwain from Fresno State (averaged 420 yards of total offense per game last season!), and she&#8217;s really wagging her tail over the likely prospect of signing the number one rated receiver in the country, 5-star receiver <a href=\"http:\/\/recruiting.scout.com\/a.z?s=73&#038;p=8&#038;c=1&#038;nid=2666455\">Julio Jones<\/a> on National Signing Day later this week.<\/p>\n<p>If fact, she had this to say about the whole affair:<\/p>\n<p>Rome to Rama Rurio, and Ro Ride, Ro!<\/p>\n<p><!--1fe17aebcaf87fc0e212c072537fb5df-->\n<\/p>\n<p><!--1fe17aebcaf87fc0e212c072537fb5df-->\n<\/p>\n<p><!--09b10e14c53207700c0729ded44771f1-->\n<\/p>\n<p><!--09b10e14c53207700c0729ded44771f1--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Monday morning mental health break is in order after a week of edgy, political blogging and a weekend of sad news&#8211;that&#8217;s the way Meg would have wanted it.
