RR Comes Before SS

So, shall we take that as a no?

Frankly, if that story is true and SS still comes to Alabama, I’m not sure I would want him (think Franchione at Bama and Tuberville at Ole Miss).

As for me, I’ll be checking out the West Virginia v. Rutgers game tomorrow. After all, it’s never too early to start learning the Xs and Os of Alabama’s new spread offense.

Remember, RR comes before SS.

yeah, I like Spurrier, but if he left now, I’d have to think a little less of him. I’m no Alabama fan, but I still can’t stand Francione after that whole thing. He sucks.

I think with a third time (in a few days time) publicly saying he was staying/wasn’t interested, it seems pretty safe to say Spurrier is staying put. But I guess you never really know until they hire someone else.

Saban said early he wasn’t interested, but I read something today that said he’s still up there on the list with Spurrier. Will they try him next, or move on to someone like RR?

My source (the bag boy down at the Publix whose brother knows somebody who’s a janitor in the football complex in T-town) says it’s going to be RR.

Which is not a bad Plan B. Unlike the newly-hired Shula, RR has a proven track record of scoring and winning at the big time level. Plus he’s young and hungry and seems to have a lot of fire in his belly.

I’m not sure the “Ol’ Ball Coach” is what we need. He seems to be in semi-retirement mode and more interested in making par at Augusta.
