Saw it last night. If you’re a fan of the show, then you’ll find some things to like about the new movie. If you’re not, then, well, you might want to take a pass.
Gillian Anderson has aged quiet nicely, and, according to Eyegal, so has David Duchovny. The plot got extremely weird, but hey, it’s the X-files so what do you expect?!
And BTW, there were no aliens. It’s basically a long, single “Monster of the Week” episode.
